We will occasionally place publications on our website for your information and interest.
We have prepared a position paper entitled: "The
road ahead: The potential for corruption (and its amelioration)
with Prostitution Law Reform" This is a document focused on the
difficult issues in Western Australia with the passage of the
Prostitution Amendment Bill 2007, in the
Parliament of Western Australia. The position paper deals with
potential corruption issues by adopting a real-world view of the issues,
while taking no moral position, and is not in any way prejudiced or
judgmental.
The Bill passed through the upper house of the
Parliament on Tuesday 1 April 2008, and was then
returned
to the Lower House.
We have now settled the position
paper and
made a limited and
confidential release early in April 2008. Once
the relevant parties have had sufficient time to consider and act on the
paper we will then be able to publish it on our website for general
interest and information.
